has pulled out of its participation in the $4-billion Gateway pipeline

oil sands crude from Alberta to the BC coast, then to China.

Enbridge, Inc. (TSX: ENB.TO) closed at $37.25 on the day, up 0.33.
Oilsands Quest Inc. (AMEX: BQI ) had a strong 5 day chart, closing at
$3.35 with big moves this week on news of management's estimate of
resource potential amounting to 10 billion barrels of bitumen for its
contiguous oil sands exploration permits in northwest Saskatchewan and
northeast Alberta.

As oil prices move towards $74 per barrel, the oil sands become a viable
energy source to the US markets. The Canadian oil sands are estimated to
have reserves second to Saudi Arabia (three billion barrels per day of
bitumen production expected from Alberta's oil sands in next 10 years).
Escalating costs and environmental impact concerns continue to follow
the sector.

Patch International, Inc. (OTCBB: PTCH) closed up 6.05% ending the day
at $2.28
Opti Canada Inc (TSX: OPC.TO) was up slightly closing at $23.85
Encana Corp (TSX: ECA.TO) ended the day at $67.29 up from their open of
$66.85
Canadian Natural Resources Ltd (TSX: CNQ.TO) saw their stock price move
2.5% to $74.24
Micron Enviro System (OTCBB: MENV.OB) had a double digit day, up over
11% closing at $.04
Surge Global Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: SRGG) closed the day’s trading flat at
$0.35
Blacksands Petroleum (OTCBB: BSPE), oil sands newcomer was down from its
previous close to $2.60
